Unbelievable!!!

Believe it or not, Father (God) has established us as kings and queens in this world and He magnifies His kingdom for the sake of His people and His name. 2 Samuel 5:12

My prayer for our lives...

What an exciting time to be alive. Thank You, Father, for the ability to have Your word so readily available to us! Today, we willingly choose to bring up Your “ARK” (Your presence) of gladness, healing, smiles, touch, sight, taste, smell, intuition, discernment, Your gifts with gladness. We dance before You in ways we never dreamed You enjoy! You enjoy our dances in our smiles, touches, laughter, peace, quietness and more. May our lives ever reflect dances before You with all our might. Even in our times of rest, help us to see that THAT IN ITSELF is just as lovely as David's dance before You when he brought back the ark of the covenant into the city.

We choose to shout in our words and with our actions knowing, You are our song, our strength, our deliverer and our Father! May our lives reflect sounds of trumpets as we worship You in every facet and with all our ability. In places where we hold back, reveal them to us so we can push through and give You our very all. That is our heart's desire, dear Father! May our lives be a blessing to those around us. Help us distribute to all in our reach loaves of fresh bread, meat and even cakes for every facet of their lives - physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, financially, with their character, time and relationships. Pour Yourself out through us God!

You have chosen us, Your kids, to be even more undignified in the sight of those who think we are, but we are humbled in our own sight, ever thankful that You choose us "the ones the world considers to as worthless or simple" to love on those You love! How sweet You are! Thank You for the incredible opportunities You give us every day! We get to love one another as You love us! Woohooooo!

We choose right not to let our hearts be troubled. We understand that Jesus, You shared these words with us because there WOULD be trouble in our lives, but we can and will rejoice because we believe in You and You work all things according to Your will and for our good and Your good.

Thank You for revealing Yourself to us daily and thus revealing Father and Holy Spirit to us. May the words we speak to You, others and ourselves not be spoken on our own authority but through You Father who dwells in us and does the work through us. We believe in You completely and Your word says we GET to do these works as well and greater works than these we get to do.

We ask and continue to ask in Your name, Jesus, to glorify Yourself in and through our lives. Our heart's desire is to see You glorified through us. Oh Father, how we love You Three! Deal bountifully with us that we may live and keep Your word. Open our eyes that we may see wondrous things from every part of Your kingdom in our lives and the lives of others and Your creation. How we hunger with deep longings to see You glorified through us. We choose to acknowledge Your truth in every way. We cling to Your testimonies and we will run the course of Your commandments and as You to enlarge our hearts even more! Oh God how my heart is light and dancing before You now! I so love You!!!!

Quick Scrolling 101: 50 Shades of Gray

Proverbs 7:21-22 “With her enticing speech she caused him to yield, with her flattering lips she seduced him. Immediately he went after her...”
This might sound silly to some but yesterday as I was scrolling through Facebook I came across a type of picture that I would normally scroll past very quickly. The reason for quick scrolling is I have learned that if I extend my gaze I start to salivate, desire, and want it which ‘plants’ this thought in my head, or purchase it to take it as my own and be satisfied, that is satisfied for the moment. I looked at this picture and then I scrolled away, scrolled back to it and then I scrolled away and you guessed it, I went back a third time to look at it? I not only looked at it, I studied it for a moment and then I told myself to move on.
This morning when I read the two verses above (One Year Daily Bible) I immediately thought of the enticing picture that caused me to stop what I was doing yesterday, take a longer look, scroll away, scroll back, scroll away, scroll back and gaze (I yielded). I found myself thinking about the seductions that lure us into 50+shades of gray and straight into blackness via emotions, bodies, daily tasks, finances, relationships, time, character, etc. For many, seductions and mind consuming things may be a anger, resentment, rage, a certain drink, words, cars, techy items, money, foods-the list is exhaustive.
This is necessary to say, I found myself asking God to forgive me for ‘gazing’ at the picture and then looking at it again and again. Oh, Wendi, you’re just taking it too far asking God to forgive you for staring at food picture, you might be thinking. When I allow myself to look a little longer or look again at something that is dangerous for my body, it's as though I am saying, “Yes, yes indeed. I want that. Plant it right here...” If I plant the seed of a luscious dessert, how yummy it will taste in my mind, the opportunity for it to grow into acts of purchasing or baking the item increases.

I have learned to be a quick scroller while perusing Facebook pictures as many pictures cause my mouth to salivate and my mind to want it! As I ‘quick scroll’ it keeps me from the enticements, seductions and ‘‘immediately’s’’.
